We are always on the look-out for new sources of information for Utah researchers, so thanks to Luana Darby for sharing the following blog post: https://blog.familysearch.org/node/991.
According to this post, “The Early Utah Community Trees contains 1.7 million individuals and 568,000 marriages that are all lineage-linked.” Many sources were used including vital records, census records, and cemetery records. The full list is included in the post referenced above. Remember that information is only as good as the source it came from.
We would like to encourage our members to take a look and submit your comments. By working together we can help FamilySearch create a truly comprehensive Utah Community Tree.
Thanks!
