The first SLIG I attended (2007) was Paula's American Records ~ I was a newbie to genealogy and she was extremely helpful and very encouraging. She is an excellent speaker and she was quite helpful in looking at my research problem and giving me advice on how to proceed with Minnesota research.
I recently attended the 2011 SLIG and although I only saw her in passing a few times, she stopped to say hello and asked me how my research was going ~ great memory and great teacher/cheerleader. You made a Fellow of a very deserving individual ~ congrats to Paula.
